Bought what I thought was a Gift Card for my Sis and Bro-In-Law for Christmas to a restaurant they had never been to. Upon trying to use it, they discovered said restaurant doesn't accept Gift Cards.

Then, Sis read the fine print at Giftly.

Why would people pay money for a card that is a suggestion? That seriously makes no sense.

Are they implying that stupid people who can't think for themselves should purchase this gift card since it supposedly comes with suggestions?

Needless to say, I am getting my moneyNO!NO back and sending money to my Sister in hopes she will still try the restaurant.

Definitely Do NOT recommend!

Stupid way to do a gift card ! Nobody ever answers your phone either So annoying I can’t believe your company survives

You can't use these gift cards at the store! You have to deposit the funding first into your bank or whoever you're giving the gift to. Really dumb!

GIFTLY offered a gift card to a grocery store that doesn't accept their services. I called them, left a message, text them with my concern and asked them to resolve this. Absolutely NO RESPONSE!

Giftly customer service called me back and I was able to speak with a helpful rep. While their form was confusing and frustrating to use, they are not con artists.As for the 2nd card, I mistakenly assumed (and I know what that makes me!

In this case, it’s fair) it was also from Giftly, but it was from Giftya, so the matter with Giftly is resolved. At this time, I rate them 3.5 stars.

Surprisingly, I did receive one of the cards in the mail. There was no indication that my request to send a physical card was accepted - the online form kept erasing my State choice, and then would bring me to the beginning of the process to re-fill the form. I do appreciate it was sent, and I now need to find the other $100 card to be sent physically.

My mother-in-law bought $400 worth of Giftly cards for my wife, my mother, and me. The money has magically disappeared into Giftlys pockets and none of us have received a working gift card.

They do not respond to emails and their phone number either tells you to email them because no live support is available, or the phone number reports as vacant. Extremely frustrating experience - avoid Giftly - they are a complete scam!!
